Through extensive research I had found San Diego County Roofing and Solar for my roofing needs. Being that I also have solar panels that needed to be removed and replaced that was a plus. San Diego Roofing and Solar provided us with a above reasonable quote, and they performed their duties with above and beyond expectations. I found them to be professional, honest, dependable and efficient. Their team worked like clockwork on completing the job on time. Each day the team clean up whatever debris they had made that day. They were very detailed throughout the whole process. Communication was unsurpassed. We are aware there are many roofing companies out there and I believe I had found the best. San Diego County Roofing and Solar deserves 5 Stars, and I would not hesitate to use them again ~ Don G

We had a great experience with SDCRS. From start to finish they were very professional. They estimated the roof replacement to be 4 days and they knocked it out in 3 day, working long hours. There was lots of debris from removing the old roof and after each day they cleaned up everything and left our yard looking like they had not even been there. Shout out to Dillon for the great communitcaton and getting us a quote in a timely manner, as well as a big shout out to Edgar who managed the onsite roof replacement. He was very professional, kind and kept great communication the whole time on the status of the roof. Again, they finished early and left our home looking amazing everyday. San Diego County Roofing & Solar was a fantastic company to work with. They provided a free quote, with full explanation of all the pieces included. They answered all of my questions and NEVER pressured me into anything. They did a lift of my concrete tile roof, replaced broken roof tiles, replaced the roof under the tile and also replaced rotted wood as needed. As the project progressed, they provided excellent communication! I also had them replace three skylights with new energy efficient ones. It was so exciting to have a roof that doesn't leak during these last rains. I also am working with their solar division to get solar installed. The discussion of options without a high pressure sales pitch from a solar company has been such a great experience. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a professional roofing company. We contacted several companies for roof replacement, and Dylon from San Diego County Roofing & Solar presented by far the most thorough and precise estimate, with a price in line with others. He was also extremely knowledgable about various aspects of the roofing project we needed. The roofing job was completed in two days and done with the utmost professional care. Our contract also specified replacing a skylight, which looks and works much better. The roof looks great. During installation there was an issue that caused the interior cover of our Solartube to break, and the guys replaced not only the interior broken cover but the entire Solatube at no cost to us. It looks much better than what we had before. You can be confident you're getting a professional job for a fair price. Edgar and his guys did a great job and cleaned up the job site well when they were done. ~ Ben H

Integrity Matters - In today's world, totally ethical and trustworthy businesses seem fewer and farther between. When one of the SDCR&S trucks caused accidental minor damage to my brand new vehicle, I fully expected excuses, insurance B.S. and runaround. I was way wrong. The owner (Troy) called be back immediately and made the requested repairs as quickly as the parts could be in. While I didn't have roofing work done (yet), San Diego County Roofing and Solar will absolutely be my first call when I do. Any contractor can quote similar work, but a contractor who is responsive and takes immediate and appropriate corrective action in the face of *any issue* is extremely rare. I sincerely appreciate the upstanding position and responsibility as a business and community member of Troy and the SDCR&S team. They truly care about doing right and I recommend that everyone support responsible businesses like this!” ~ James

SD County Roofing did a great job. I had a complete re-roof but also had to do fairly extensive ventilation work. Other roofers did not want to do the work as they said they didn't have the expertise. SD County Roofing came to the house, went into the attic/crawl spaces and designed the solution. Prior to the new roof my attic and crawl spaces were extremely hot because they couldn't ventilate properly. The attic temps created extremely warm conditions throughout the entire house. After the new roof and attic work I am happy to say the attic, second floor, and the entire house is significantly cooler! The roof looks great too. ~ Jeff L

Absolutely loved working with San Diego County Roofing! Dylon, Edgar and the crew are top notch and truly went above and beyond. I had a wonderful experience from start to finish. I was so impressed with San Diego County Roofing and Solar from start to finish of my project - even for a small project they were open to doing things right (permits - which required a lot of follow up with the city, unfortunately; sharing their insurance up front, etc.). It made me very comfortable to work with them. They also share the cost of changing out any decayed wood they might find before they start the project. Very transparent, awesome company! I'm glad we discovered SD County Roofing. We had a small leak in the garage roof and Dillon and team showed up as scheduled and spent the best part of an hour checking everything out. They gave us several options and we chose to have the roof resealed instead of replaced. The team that did the work was very professional, and took lots of pics so we could see what was happening. Great Roofing Company! We just had our roof done by them and they did an outstanding job!! They are “The Experts” when it comes to roofs. They are outstanding from start to finish. On-site co-owner supervising the work and making sure all are done to code. From the best materials to the required venting to final touches like paint and cleanup. I interviewed many solar companies and went with this company because of its excellent business reviews. and while nobody wants the hassle of replacing the roof or the expense, this company was both reasonably priced and so pleasant to deal with from the owner to the sales person to the people who came out and worked on the roof. It has been a pleasure working with San Diego Roofing and Solar. They had to take case of my roof that leaked after Tesla installed solar panels via third party contractors. SDCRS rates are competitive, scheduling flexible, job well planned and completed within 7 days (solar removal @ re-installation and complete re-roofing. Stuff is very professional and understanding, they even provided a cover for active mourning dove nest in one of our hanging flower baskets!!! Highly knowledgeable and skills in both roofing and solar. San Diego County Roofing and Solar has worked on a number of of neighbor and friends and everyone regard them very highly. Never let solar company work on your roof, most solar companies do not make any hardware, then just install what QCELL, Enphase or Samsung etc happen to make. Pretty much like a LEGO set, very little skill required. Do not be fooled by "solar expertise", solar is easy, leak-free roofing takes requires a skilled labor. We had our roof replaced last week and our experience was exceptional. San Diego County Roofing had a great crew who clearly worked well together and knew what they were doing. Very efficient and tidy; they picked up everyday following their work. Troy and Edgar were both easy to talk to and responsive to any questions or concerns. Highly recommend. ~ Marie O

We got 4 estimates to "Lift and Relay" the tiles on our roof. One roofer said our concrete tiles were near the end of their useful life, while all the other roofers contradicted that. Of the estimates Troy's (the co-owner) was the best. He updated me throughout the process, and when he didn't, he apologized. Not a big deal, they were minor items. The crew arrived on time, were polite and professional. One thing we really liked is that they cleaned up everyday when they were done. We really appreciated this, since we have 3 dogs who like to wander around in our backyard. They answered all my questions, finished as scheduled and repainted the replaced wood. The amount of wood that needed replacement was minimal, and they could have charged a lot more, and we wouldn't have known if it was needed or not. Overall, I'd say they are an honest, reliable roofing company. I wanted to wait until after it rained to see if there were any obvious roof problems before submitting this review, well it has rained, and to the untrained eye, everything looks great. I wouldn't hesitate to use San Diego County Roofing again, and I highly recommend them. Thanks Troy and Edgar for a job well done. ~ Richard C

I had a leak around my skylight. I got several quotes and all of them were pretty much the same, and very expensive solutions. I then called SDCR and talked to Troy. Troy came to my home and spent quite some time surveying the roof and felt he knew what the problem was. Troy gave me a couple of options.
